A man remains in a critical condition after being stabbed in the chest.
The victim, 24, was rushed to hospital at around 6.30pm on Saturday, March 11 after being stabbed in the chest and leg. Emergency services attended the scene, on Carr Lane East, Croxteth.
It has been reported that the victim staggered over a wall onto the doorstep of a neighbouring property after the attack. Officers arrested three people, a 44-year-old man, from Liverpool, on suspicion of attempted murder and two women, from Liverpool, aged 46 and 49, on suspicion of attempted murder and section 18 wounding with intent.

One woman, Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East has been charged with Section 18 wounding and appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court yesterday. The other two people arrested have been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.
Speaking after the incident, detective inspector Neil Dillon said: "We are currently in the early stages of an investigation after a man was stabbed in West Derby last night. We believe there was an altercation at an address on Carr Lane East that has resulted in a man suffering stab wounds.
"We currently have three people in custody but our enquiries remain ongoing.
