A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder after a 22-year-old man was fatally stabbed in west London.
Officers were called to reports of stabbing at the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road, in Hounslow, at 1.47am on Tuesday, June 30.
Met Police attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service to find Haruun Hassan, 22, who was local to the area, with serious injuries.
Despite the efforts from emergency services, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Awap Halouf, 21, of Hambro Road, Lambeth, has since been charged with murder and possession of a blade in a public place.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 7.
Haruun’s family continue to receive support from specialist officers.
As part of the investigation, a 21-year-old woman was also arrested in Cardiff on Sunday, July 5 on suspicion of murder.
She has been bailed pending further enquiries.
