A man in his 20s who was brought to hospital in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision in Cork on Saturday has died
The man was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a serious road traffic collision with two cars that occurred shortly after 8.30pm on Saturday evening on McCurtain Street in Fermoy, Co Cork.
The passenger was rushed to Cork University Hospital in critical condition, however, he has since passed away. The driver of the other car, a female aged in her 50s, was also transported to CUH, where she is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A male driver, aged in his late 30s, was arrested at the scene of the road traffic collision and was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Co. Cork.
The arrested man has since been charged in relation to the fatal collision and is due to appear before Mallow District Court tomorrow morning, Monday, July 3 and 10:30am.
In a statement, Gardaí appealed for anyone who may have dashcam footage to contact the Garda station.
The statement said: “Gardaí continue to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
“Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the McCurtain Street area between 8:30pm and 9pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
