Man, 19, taken to hospital with serious injuries after crash

A 19-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Bolton.

Emergency services descended on Market Street in Farnworth at around 10.30pm on Saturday night (17 June) after reports of a collision.

According to Greater Manchester Police a man sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains. No further details about his condition have been given at this stage.

No further information about the nature of the crash have been confirmed by police. They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.

In a statement on Twitter, they said: "GMP are appealing for information after a collision on Market Street #Farnworth at 10.28pm last night (17/6/23).

"A 19-year-old man sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital. Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 4083 of 17/6/23."
