'I thought I'd pulled a muscle in the gym - but it turned out to be a terrible diagnosis'

A teenager who thought he pulled a muscle while weight lifting in the gym was devastated to find out he actually had cancer.

Tomas Evans, 18, woke up to a painful fist-sized lump on his shoulder two days after working out back in June.

He visited the GP and after being referred for various scans, x-rays and a biopsy, was eventually diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin Lymphoma the following month.
