Derry TikTok star Serena Terry has told of her nerves as she is set to perform and host an event at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this week.
The festival has been the birthplace of some of the brightest names in comedy and it's set to return after a two-year hiatus between August 3-29.
The comedy extravaganza will feature work across 3,171 shows from 58 countries. There will also be 16 stages as a programme of free online shows for audiences to choose from. Tickets to the festival can be found online.

Revealing on TikTok, Serena Terry, aka Mammy Banter, revealed to her 1.4million followers that she would be hosting her first ever standup show ‘Social Status’ on Saturday, August 6 live on TikTok.
"Guess what?" Serena told her followers. "I am going to Edinburgh Fringe on Saturday to do a live stand-up set that's going to be streamed on TikTok because they're exclusive virtual partners with Edinburgh Fringe this year.
"I don't know who I am, but I am doing a stand-up show. Yes, I have written one, but I haven't even performed it in my living room in front of my granny before and I am absolutely cacking the bags. If you want to see me cack the bags live, you can register on the thingymabobber there."
This year also marks the 75th anniversary of the festival, making it even more special for those taking part. Its previous show was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic, so this year promises to be better than ever to make up for it.
Meanwhile, the social media sensation also recently announced that she had landed her second book deal with Harper Collins, just in time for Christmas.
Her first book, Mammy Banter: The Secret Life of an Uncool Mum, was a Sunday Times bestseller and she also made a guest appearance on the third and final season of Derry Girls.
