There's no stopping Matt Fitzpatrick. The 2022 US Open champion, fresh off a successful Ryder Cup European campaign for Europe, turned in a superb performance to win the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Playing the final round of the rain-truncated 54-hole event at the Old Course in St. Andrews, Fitzpatrick turned in a card of six-under 66 to total 19-under par, three shots ahead of defending champion Ryan Fox. The Kiwi's spirited campaign for a consecutive win came close but was undone by a bogey on the penultimate hole of the tournament. The highlight for Fitzpatrick, however, was winning the pro-am with his mother Susan.
