Maluma shared an emotional post honoring Colombian migrants and all Latinos who seek a better future, telling his 64 million Instagram followers how proud he is of his country and of being Latin American.

The singer encouraged those striving to overcome difficulties away from their homeland with a message. "Keep fighting, don't give up," he said.

His message also serves as a reminder that the urban artist, originally from Medellín, is himself part of the Latino migrant population in the United States.

The photos accompanying his words show him in various U.S. cities, both on stage and on the street, as well as on a plane with a cute bunny-shaped stuffed animal. This year, the artist became a father.

He also shared a photo with Colombian artist Shakira, recalling the moment when the song "Chantaje" (which features Maluma) surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify.

"How awesome, Colombia. How awesome it is to be Latino!!! This post is dedicated to all those people who have to leave their country to make a living elsewhere, to be away from their loved ones, and to go through tough times," Malum wrote.

"I've been through it and I know how hard it is, but friends, keep fighting, don't give up... Believe me, the best is yet to come!," he added.

It was also announced on Thursday that the 'Pretty Boy' will perform on June 8th for the 50,000 fans attending the "Final Four" of the Kings League World Cup at the BBVA Stadium in Monterrey

"See you on June 8th, we are very excited. Greetings to everyone who is there, joining us in this broadcast. We will bring all the musicians. I hope everyone comes because the show will be amazing," Maluma said.
