Malin Andersson has revealed the reason behind her split from boyfriend Jared which came just weeks after she gave birth to their daughter Xaya.
The former Love Island star, 29, welcomed baby Xaya back in January, two years after the tragic loss of her daughter Consy.
But Malin announced in March she had split from Jared and spoke about the reason they decided to part ways so soon after Xaya's birth.
The television personality told OK! Magazine : "There was a lot of pressure involved, plus, he’s only ever really known me as hormonal Malin because I’d been pregnant pretty much ever since we’d first gotten together.
"I was relying on him so much that I feel like he lost himself a bit. It was best for both of us to take some months apart, so that’s what we did.
"We’re now co-parenting Xaya 50/50 and getting on a lot better having our situation like this at the moment – it saved us, in a weird way."
Malin has not ruled out a reunion and says she can "definitely see us getting back together at some point in the future", once "the baby chaos" has calmed down.
Malin went on to describe Jared as the "most amazing dad" who "adores Xaya".
Malin and Jared had gone public with their relationship last June, although it's believed they had known each other for more than five years.
She had previously claimed Jared as her "soul mate" when introducing him to her Instagram followers, adding: "We have always been friends, and also in and out of each other’s lives."
At the time of Xaya's birth, Malin wrote: "My next chapter. My new beginning. My happy ending. My entire universe. All mine. I can’t describe to you all how I feel writing this."
She continued: "Everything I’ve ever wanted, everything I visualised. A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background – witnessed my life over the past 4 years and has stuck by me as a friend.. and now a lover.
"This couldn’t feel any more right – and we’re now bringing a beautiful soul into this world.
"My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up.. because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this. I was wrong. It just wasn’t the right time.
"All the pain I’ve endured has led to this very moment.. my own little family.
"Mumma – I know you’re looking down with bright eyes and a big smile. Baby Consy - protect us from above. This is us now."
Her late daughter Consy was named after Andersson’s mother, who died in November 2017 of cancer.
