Malik Tillman might not be after the rough and tumble of Scottish football - but Kenny Miller isn't convinced Rangers should be splashing the cash.
The Bayern Munich loanee has impressed at Ibrox this season with 12 goals and five assists, but it hasn't been enough to convince the former Ibrox striker he is a dead cert purchase for Michael Beale's Ibrox revamp this summer. Allan McGregor, Alfredo Morelos and others are likely to leave come the summer and Tillman will head back to Germany should Rangers not take up the option to purchase him.
It's been claimed that £5m is the fee it will take to buy the 20-year-old, but when speaking about Tillman, Miller told Go Radio: "I still think there is a lot to prove. It's not just about ability, it's about the transfer fee and for me there is another thing, I am not sure the boy maybe wants to stay. I don't know if he will fancy Scottish football.
"The novelty of representing Celtic and Rangers wears off for some players so when you are playing in front of 50,000 and 60,000, going for cups, fighting for the league, that last day picking up the trophy, nothing better.
"But it's not just all the glamour of Champions League when representing Celtic and Rangers. 'I am a Bayern Munich player, could I go back and impact somebody in the Bundesliga', as he has done well.
"I am still undecided, we don't see him every day and we don't know what relationship he has with Michael Beale. That will play a big factor as well."
