Malik Tillman has opened up on "the best decision" of his career to join Rangers last year.
The American international signed on loan from Bayern Munich last summer and enjoyed an impressive season in Scottish football.
He won the PFA Young Player of the Year award after netting 12 times for the Ibrox club.
It's been made no secret that Michael Beale wants to secure the 20-year-old's services on a permanent deal.
Rangers have first refusal on any potential deal with Bayern. It's believed a fee would cost around £5million.
However, there are other interested parties though, reportedly in the shape of Brighton and Brentford, so it really is a question of whether Tillman wants to return to Glasgow or not.
And while that remains to be seen, one thing that can't be doubted is the player's special connection with the fans and how much he enjoyed representing the club.
Speaking on Rising Ballers, he said: "I was 19 years old and I just thought you just have to play on a high level and as many games as you can so that's why I thought about going out on loan.
"When I first came to Rangers, I wasn't really nervous I was just excited to play for a massive, massive club.
"Everyone knows it is not always going to go the right way but for me fortunately it did. Going on loan was the best decision in my career so far. The best advice I got is basically 'enjoy what you do and believe in the things you do'."
The USA star also opened up on the goal celebration he used after scoring.
Tillman explained: "My first goal was against a Belgian team in the Champions League. We were 2-0 up and I scored the third goal.
"I done it my first time when I was here. I don't know, my brother told me it is three which stands for me, my mum and my brother. And just a mask on to like shut down everything else."
