Ryan Murphy's latest series, Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, has become FX's most-watched limited series ever on Disney+ and Hulu.
The show, which premiered its first three episodes on 12 February, has garnered over 25 million hours of viewership for its initial five episodes alone.
Viewership for the series, which chronicles the romance and tragic deaths of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, has consistently increased with each weekly episode release.
The cast includes Paul Anthony Kelly as JFK Jr., Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette, and Naomi Watts as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, whose performance has divided critics and audiences.
The series has drawn criticism, including from JFK Jr.'s nephew Jack Schlossberg, who accused Murphy of 'profiting off of it in a grotesque way', and general pushback regarding casting and the perceived glamorisation of tragedy.
