Malcolm McPherson opens up on Hibs Non-Executive chairman role as he details 'ambition' and 'drive'

Malcolm McPherson has labelled his Hibs appointment as a proud moment as he looks to continue implementing Ron Gordon's vision in the capital.

The Easter Road club have appointed the highly respected figure in the Edinburgh and Scottish business community as the club's new Non-Executive Chairman after being nominated for the role by the Gordon family, with the board at the club supporting the decision. He's had a long-term affiliation with the club having previously served as chairman between 1999 and 2002 while he also served on the board of directors on two occasions.

The club has also confirmed the appointment of Kathrin Hamilton as Non-Executive Vice-Chairman. Like Malcolm, Kathrin was appointed to the Board by Ronald J Gordon in 2020, and has also been playing a significant role in the growth of Hibernian Women since 2019.
