Newly-appointed Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray has named an unchanged starting lineup to the side that lost 1-0 to Norwich City on the weekend.
The former Blackburn Rovers boss was appointed on Tuesday evening, signing a two-year deal, after Alex Neil's departure for Championship rivals Stoke City and will be looking to get off to the perfect start at the Stadium of Light against a Rotherham United side that were promoted from League One alongside the Black Cats last season.
Moreover, Paul Warne's team have enjoyed an impressive start to life back in the second tier, picking up nine points from their opening five matches.

As for the Wearside outfit, they too have adjusted to playing Championship football again well, albeit under a former manager, earning eight points from six matches.
It's a big game for Sunderland this evening and Black Cats supporters took to social media to give their reaction to Mowbray's first lineup as Sunderland boss.
