Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi has insisted reported Leeds United target Fabiano Parisi will not be sold in the January window. Parisi’s agent Mario Giuffredi confirmed that Leeds, Nice and several Serie A clubs showed interest in the Italy U21 international during the summer.
However, Parisi was happy to go along with Empoli’s demands and continue his development at the Italian side. In August, Parisi then decided to put pen-to-paper on a new deal until 2025, but agent Giuffredi has already hinted it won’t be long until he is on the move.
He told Tuttomercatoweb : “I consider him a great team player. He can be the transfer man for January or for (next) summer. He’s (a player) of the highest standards.
