The maxim that a happy partner leads to a happy life is generally true. So, in ordinary circumstances, we’d find it hard to get too mad about Kash Patel taking the time to ensure his girlfriend is having a good time. He’s the FBI Director – the last thing he needs is a grumpy girlfriend!
But maybe, just maybe, having it be one of your primary focuses while running one of the largest and most powerful law enforcement agencies in the world isn’t such a great idea.
The New York Times has just published a bombshell article detailing the first year “inside Kash Patel’s FBI”, and it makes for some truly eye-opening reading. It features testimony from 45 current or former employees, many of whom can’t believe what they’ve witnessed.
The broad picture of Patel is a man who doesn’t take his job particularly seriously, is using the position to score glamorous freebies, and is more concerned about his social media image than fighting crime.
But perhaps most depressing for Americans should be how much of their tax dollars are being siphoned into showing Alexis Wilkins, Patel’s 27-year-old country singer girlfriend, a good time.
Patel’s fawning over his girlfriend (who is eighteen years younger than him) hit the headlines earlier this year when it emerged he used an FBI jet to travel to see her sing the national anthem at a wrestling event, and that she enjoys the protection of an FBI SWAT team.
Priorities!

Now it appears that, during Patel’s visit to England in Oct. 2025, he wasn’t focused on fighting international crime, but on how to ensure he and his girlfriend had a nice vacation. The newspaper says;
“His staff only cared about three things: what his meals were, when his workouts would be, and what his entertainment would be.”
His main focus on the trip seems to be ensuring that Wilkins would get to visit Windsor Castle and meet the royals:
“The biggest plan is how he’s going to get his girlfriend in there so she can go to Windsor Castle.”
The report goes on to say his assistant Nicola Rucker is acting like an executive concierge, and when Patel and Wilkins don’t get what they want: “she’ll just start screaming at people, make it happen!”
Wilkins’ princess dream came true, with her and Patel getting to live their dream of having dinner in Windsor Castle with King Charles. Oh well, at least someone is having a good time under this nightmarish administration. And hey, if they are going to fritter away your tax dollars, they may as well be on making Wilkins feel like The Most Special Girl in the World.
