THE majority of people across the UK view artificial intelligence (AI) as a force for bad, according to a major new poll.

The survey of more than 5000 voters, conducted by Tory peer Michael Ashcroft’s polling company, found that 51% of people view AI as either a “force for bad” (20%) or “mostly a force for bad, with some upsides” (31%).
