NRL fans have been told to make new travel plans to get to Olympic Park as Sydney's trains suffer another major outage.
Urgent signal repairs have stopped trains running between Lidcombe and Ashfield on the T1 Western and T2 Inner West & Leppington Lines.
Limited buses have temporarily replaced trains between Rhodes and Ashfield on the T9 Northern Line.
Cancellations began at 4.40pm, potentially disrupting voters in NSW's state election before polls closed at 6pm.
Transport NSW said it was enlisting shuttle services across its network.
"Customers travelling to Sydney Olympic Park from the west and southwest will have limited direct services from Leppington and Penrith but are advised to allow for extra travel time," Transport NSW said in a statement.
The Transport Management Centre advised travellers to delay their travel or make alternative transport arrangements.
It is the train system's second major outage this month after a digital radio system failure left 250,000 home-bound commuters stranded on platforms on March 8.
At the time, premier Dominic Perrottet called the outage a "freak incident".
"These incidents happen from time to time, they do," he said.
Sydney Trains and Transport NSW have been contacted for comment.
