Liverpool Comic Con has revealed that a major Stranger Things star will appear at the convention next year.
The hit Netflix show returned with a bang earlier this year for its latest season - and has been hugely popular with fans across the globe. Stranger Things’ latest season - the show’s penultimate - introduced The Hellfire Club, a Dungeons and Dragons roleplay group, as well as a new 'big bad', Vecna.
Now, Liverpool Comic Con has confirmed that a major Stranger Things star will be appearing at the event in April 2023. Jamie Campbell Bower is well known for playing one of Stranger Things’ central characters in the latest season - Henry Creel, AKA One, AKA Vecna.

Venca is the 'big bad' of the latest season - and the whole series, it could turn out. Campbell Bower is also well known for his roles as Jace Wayland in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Caius in The Twilight Saga, and as young Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – part one.
Campbell Bower is the first guest to be announced for the 2023 convention, just days after a hugely successful second event for 2022. Last weekend’s event saw another Stranger Things star, Gaten Matarazzo who plays Dustin Henderson, in attendance.
Further guest announcements are expected in the coming weeks and months. Comic Con is returning to Liverpool’s Exhibition Centre on the waterfront from April 1 to 2, 2023.
Tickets are on sale now and can be bought via the Comic Con website . You can buy tickets for the full weekend now. Prices start at £48.40 for adults and £19.25 for children per day.
