Tom Lawrence is pushing for a return to Rangers action.
The Ibrox midfielder, 29, has been sidelined through injury after the Europa League win over Real Betis last month.
Lawrence had only returned from a serious injury layoff before being ruled out again in a cruel blow.
However, the Rangers Review reports Lawrence is now pushing for a return to competitive action as he prepares to step up his comeback in full training at Auchenhowie.
It's claimed Lawrence is fighting to make his return to the matchday squad for Rangers in the upcoming fixtures. Rangers next face Dundee on Wednesday before facing Hearts in the Viaplay Cup semi-final on Sunday, November 5.
In a packed fixture schedule, Rangers then face Sparta Prague, Livingston, Aberdeen and Aris Limassol in November.
After the injury setback last month, then-boss Michael Beale had commented: "Tom Lawrence came off with what he thought was cramp but when he came in the next morning it was more than that.
"He's away having a scan and he'll probably miss the next couple of games to the international break which is disappointing because he is such a big player."
Lawrence's comeback hope comes amid concerns over Nico Raskin's condition after being forced off in the late win over Hearts on Sunday.
The midfielder was unable to continue in the second half as he appeared to struggle with an ankle knock.
Philippe Clement said: "I didn’t see him yet so we need to make a proper assessment about that this evening or tomorrow with the doctors in hospital.
"I hope that it is not too bad because he has been important in the last couple of weeks and is a player with a lot of potential."
