A heavy police presence has been reported across Nottingham city centre due to a major incident.
Police have put multiple road closures in place and the tram network has been suspended. People have been told to use alternative routes through the centre due to a large-scale investigation.
In a statement issued on Tuesday morning, Nottinghamshire Police said officers and other emergency services are currently in attendance at several locations, including the Maid Marian Way junction of Upper Parliament Street. The statement read: "There are multiple road closures in place throughout the city while the incident is being investigated.
