Major League Cricket 2023: Meet the owners of the six teams

NEW DELHI: As the inaugural season of Major League Cricket (MLC) is set to kick off, six teams are prepared to embark on a thrilling journey.

The participating teams, namely Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings, and Washington Freedom, will contend for the prestigious championship title.

The tournament is scheduled to span three weeks, commencing on July 13 and culminating on July 30.

Here's a look at the owners of the six franchisees:

1. Los Angeles Knight Riders

OWNERS: Knight Riders Group

2. MI New York

OWNERS: Indiawin Sports

3. San Francisco Unicorns

OWNERS: Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan

4. Seattle Orcas

OWNERS: GMR Group and Satya Nadella

5. Texas Super Kings

OWNERS: Chennai Super Kings, Anurag Jain and Ross Perot Jr

6. Washington Freedom
