Major home insulation plan announced for Brits - what it means for you

Hundreds of thousands of Brits will get free home insulation under a three-year government scheme announced today.

Business Secretary Grant Shapps is unveiling a scheme called ‘ECO+’ that will run from April 2023 to March 2026.

It will hand out loft and cavity wall insulation, saving eligible homes with a D or worse efficiency rating an average of £310-a-year off their energy bills.
