Major food delivery brand launches robot service in London

• Deliveroo has partnered with Coco Robotics to launch robot food deliveries in London's Canary Wharf this month.
• The service will expand to Milton Keynes, Leeds, Stockton on Tees and Nottingham in the coming weeks and months, marking Coco's UK debut.
• Customers in Canary Wharf will initially be able to order from brands including Patty&Bun, Signorelli and Beam, with further merchants joining at a later stage.
• The autonomous delivery robots operate at walking pace using cameras, sensors and artificial intelligence to navigate.
• Deliveroo chief executive Miki Kuusi stated that autonomous technology will help High Street businesses remain competitive and meet growing consumer demand.
