A major fire at a hotel and golf complex in Ilkeston has destroyed a building. Crews were called to Morley Hayes Golf Club in Morley on Tuesday (June 20) night.
An investigation has now been launched into the blaze, with the cause of the fire still unknown. Crews from Ilkeston, Nottingham Road, Heanor and Kingsway were all in attendance.
Photos of the blaze show a single-storey outbuilding at the golf course in Main Road in flames and fire units responded to the call at 10.47pm, reports Derbyshire Live.
Crews in attendance were supported by Ascot Drive crews from Derbyshire with the aerial ladder platform and Long Eaton with the command support unit. One crew remains at the scene and a fire investigation is due to commence later today.
