Major Edinburgh road works including resurfacing and new cycle bollards set to start

A major Edinburgh roadworks project will get under way next month to make improvements for drivers and cyclists on a busy carriageway.

London Road between Easter Road and Meadowbank will be resurfaced and new segregated cycle lanes will be installed as part of a six-month programme of works.

A contract to deliver the £2 million scheme has been awarded and work will kick off on July 10.
