Major Edinburgh city centre street to be closed for seven months for roadworks

A busy road in the heart of Edinburgh’s west end is set to close for around seven months for roadworks.

As well as Edinburgh City Council work on a new cross-capital cycle route, gas work upgrades in the area will also be carried out by SGN over a period of 12 weeks simultaneously in a bid to minimise disruption.

The works will mean that Haymarket Terrace will be closed travelling eastbound between its junctions with Rosebery Crescent and Magdala Crescent from April 3 until around November 2023.
