There were significant delays in Dublin Airport this morning after a technical issue with the baggage system.
Passengers in Terminal 2 who were checking in their bags this morning experienced significant delays. And while daa worked to resolve the issue, customers were left unhappy.
A spokesman for Dublin Airport told Dublin Live: "An issue with the baggage system in Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport has resulted in delays for some passengers checking in bags this morning. daa is working to resolve the issue and liaising closely with our airline partners to assist impacted passengers."
Passengers took to social media platform to share their dissatisfaction, with one person saying: "Big delays @AerLingus bag drop in Terminal 2 @DublinAirport because of a baggage belt malfunction. Great start to the hols."
Another person said "nothing [is] moving now", while a third said: "Total chaos in T2 @DublinAirport where the @AerLingus bag conveyor belt hasn't been working for an hour. Shambles!"
