A train has struck a trailer at a level crossing in northwest Sydney, causing major delays.
Roughly 50 passengers on the city-bound train were uninjured, police said.
Emergency workers were called to Level Crossing Rd at Vineyard, south of Windsor, about 5am on Thursday and investigations into the incident are under way.
Trains were not running between Riverstone and Mulgrave on Thursday morning, with buses brought in to replace services.
Services that normally run to and from Richmond were instead only running to Riverstone.
"Please delay travel if possible or use other transport," Transport NSW said in a statement.
The train driver was checked by paramedics as a precaution.
