Strictly Come Dancing co-host, Tess Daly, has confirmed a major change to the programme. Talking about the show's Blackpool special, the presenter said that next week's episode had been shunted to a later time slot.
Blackpool is now the focus of all nine remaining couples left in the new series of Strictly. It will be the first time in three years that the BBC programme's cast and crew will travel to the seaside town, after plans were ruined in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As the stars head for Blackpool's famous Tower Ballroom, the 'Vegas of the north,' will be in the Strictly spotlight once again on Saturday, November 19. Sadly, one couple had to leave Strictly before packing their cases for Blackpool and this week's Strictly results came with a big twist, when Tony Adams withdrew due to injury, before he and Katya Jones took on Tyler West and Dianne Buswell in the dance-off. After Tony gave an emotional exit speech , it was down to Tess and co-host Claudia Winkleman to wrap up proceedings.
