Celtic look set to sell Alexandro Bernabei to Internacional this week after the Brazilian club sold a starlet to Saudi Arabia for £16 million.
And Internacional are set to send sports director André Mazzucco to Glasgow this week to seal the deal, with Celtic reportedly agreeing to lower the price of the sale to £5 million plus add-ons.
Bernabei has enjoyed an outstanding season since being shipped off back to South America on loan and has even been tipped for an international call-up for World Cup holders Argentina after impressing in Brazil.
Internacional were struggling to meet the transfer fee, with a deadline originally set by Celtic for tomorrow for the loan move to turn into a permanent one.

But the windfall from the sale of 17-year-old ace Gabriel Carvalho to Al Qadisiyah in Saudi Arabia for the bumper fee has changed that.
Reports in Brazil have suggested sports director Mazzucco will confirm the deal with the Saudis at a meeting point in Madrid before flying to Glasgow to seal the conclusion of the Bernabei deal with Hoops chiefs.
It's also been reported Celtic were prepared to drop their original £7 million asking price by £2 million as part of the agreement.
The 24-year-old cost Celtic £3.75 million when he joined from Lanus in June 2022 and the Hoops are set to make a marginal profit.
