EastEnders star Maisie Smith has been questioned about her wardrobe choices in a series of pictures from her New York city break with boyfriend Max George.
The 21-year-old actress jetted off to the big apple with The Wanted singer, 34, for a post-Christmas break but after sharing the holiday snaps on Instagram, many of her 1 million followers were left confused by her footwear choice.
Their New York break came after the couple spent Christmas in Essex with Maisie's family, which was captured in a compilation of festive photos featuring the family's pet pooches.
Now, the loved-up couple have enjoyed the delights of America and appear to be unable to keep their hands off one another. The the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star's recent compilation of pictures have left many fans confused though.
Captioned: "live laugh love" the snaps show in Maisie in various poses around New York city. Wearing a long beige coat with fur trim, brown cargo trousers and a pair of stylish black sunglasses, Maisie appears to be enjoying quality time with boyfriend Max as she blows a bubble-gum at the camera and tucks into a Dunkin doughnut.
While many followers left supportive comments under the post, others were not that impressed with Maisie's wardrobe choices.
On one particular picture Maisie is seen wearing shoes that appear to be two different shades of brown, prompting fans to ask why she had worn an odd pair.
One fan asked: "Have you got odd shoes on??(laughing emoji) it’s really stressing me out not knowing" and another said: "Are you wearing odd trainers?"
While another also asked: "Do you have different shoes on there?"
A fourth fan was quick to jump to Maisie's defence though and explained that the shoes appeared to look different but were actually a matching pair.
They said: "Guys they’re not odd shoes, they look like the Travis Scott Air 1s basically there’s a waterproof cover on them that you can take on and off. So on one shoe it’s on and the others off."
Boyfriend Max George is also seen in the pictures, wearing a black baseball cap with light-washed denim jeans and a checked, denim jacket, as he shops for outfits.
Their New York city trip marks the couple's sixth holiday together, just months after making their romance public. Early in December Maisie and beau Max George enjoyed a festive break in Lapland, where Maisie wowed fans with her stunning bikini pictures.
