Maisie Smith celebrated finishing Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins by getting 'p***ed'

Actress Maisie Smith celebrated being one of just four stars to finish the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins course by getting “really p***ed”.

The ex-EastEnder, 21, former Strictly star AJ Pritchard, TOWIE’s Ferne McCann and TV personality Calum Best were treated to burgers after the final, screened tonight.

Asked how she celebrated, Maisie revealed: “I got really p***ed and then slept for 24 hours.”

She added: “I pushed myself beyond limits that I didn’t even know I had. I’ve never felt prouder, more empowered, more strong.

“It changed my outlook about myself. It got that demon off my shoulder. I came out feeling like I could conquer the world.”

Dancer AJ, 27, who also passed, said completing Celeb SAS “wasn’t that bad” as he “held on to 20% of his energy”.

This year's show featured the biggest celebrity line-up (Pete Dadds / Channel 4)

“I’d tell myself that things are always going to be worse,” he said. “Life always gets worse before it gets better.”

The star – whose brother Curtis was withdrawn from the competition by the directing staff – added: “I’m a sucker for punishment.”

Ferne, 32, said the SAS experience was “up there” with giving birth to her four-year-old daughter, Sunday.

She said she lost so much weight she looked “banging” after the final.

But she admitted: “I haven’t brushed my hair the whole time. It made me realise that you don’t need everything that you have at home.”

Winner Calum, who was upset at being branded “son of” by interrogators due to famous dad George, said the final mountain climb had been extra gruelling after getting diarrhoea.

But the star, 41, added: “I went, ‘bring it the f*** on’, and just nailed it.”

He continued: “I am a battered, bruised, beaten man, but a fulfilled man.”
