Maisie Smith is seemingly unbothered by Ulrika Jonsson 's recent scathing comments.
The star has put on a loved-up display with boyfriend Max George, as she and The Wanted singer, 34, enjoy another sun-soaked holiday abroad together amid engagement speculation about the pair.
Ulrika labelled the former EastEnders actress, 21, a self-indulgent attention seeker this weekend, after Maisie sparked rumours she and Max George had split thanks to a teary and emotional TikTok post earlier this week.
Posting on the platform on Tuesday, the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star uploaded emotional footage of herself which was accompanied by the song Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All) by Omar Apollo.
It included clips of Maisie - best known for playing Tiffany Butcher on EastEnders - crying and wiping her eyes. Such scenes were set to lyrics like: "You didn't deserve me at all".
Max and Maisie quickly shut down any split speculation, going to to share a video of themselves kissing as they jetted off on holiday on Wednesday, but Ulrika was unimpressed by Maisie social media posts.
"I certainly can’t imagine reaching for my phone mid-personal drama to ensure I captured my tearful moment for people to see," Ulrika writes in her latest column for The Sun.
"Surely, sadness, mourning, personal trauma or grieving is something private – not something you milk?
"It also exploits the loyalty and goodwill of her fans, who clearly care deeply about her. Maisie Smith bawling on TikTok is so self-indulgent and attention seeking."
Maisie is seemingly not letting Ulrika's comments bother her, as she continues to enjoy her holiday with All Time Low singer Max.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Saturday night, the actress shared a sun-soaked snap of herself and Max cuddled up as they holiday in Cyprus together with their respective families.
Max and Maisie's relationship is going from strength to strength, since going public with their romance just a few months ago.
The loved-up pair even unwittingly paid tribute to power couple Posh and Becks earlier this month, as they headed to a showbiz bash in matching cream outfits reminiscent of how Victoria and David Beckham would often step out together in matching ensembles back in the day.
Max and Maisie even sparked engagement rumours this week, as the former soap star appeared to wear a sparking oval-shaped ring on her wedding finger in one of their holiday snaps shared on social media.
The happy couple first met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, back when the actress was partnered up with Kevin Clifton and the singer - who once dated Michelle Keegan - was partnered up with Dianne Buswell. They reportedly grew closer during the Strictly live tour at the beginning of this year.
Speculation the pair had become more than friends began last month, when the two stars were spotted allegedly "all over each other" on a flight from Manchester to Crete, despite their reported attempts to go incognito - just weeks after the singer split from his on-off ex Stacey Giggs.
The two stars confirmed their romance shortly after being spotted jetting off on holiday together and have been posting loved-up snaps together ever since.
