PANAJI: The Supreme Court has ordered government authorities to maintain status quo in the matter of demolition of illegal structures within the funnel zone of Goa International Airport, Dabolim, until further orders.
The SC sought a reply from the respondents, and granted permission to the 45 petitioners to file a SLP before it, in the matter. The 45 moved the top court stating that they be allowed to exercise statutory right available in law to apply for and get their structures regularised if permissible by law.
