The main road to Cribbs Causeway will be closed overnight for a month . Resurfacing work was due to start on the A4018 from next week, but has now been put back following delays.
The key road will now be closed from Tuesday, August 30 every night for four weeks. The work, which is being carried out by contractors working for a housing developer, has been out back due to other works being carried out by Bristol Water and Wales and West Utilities.
The road will be closed from the roundabout junction with Lysander Road to the roundabout junction with Station Road. It will be in place from 8pm to 6am.

A diversion will be in place along Wyck Beck Road, Knole Lane and Pen Park Road in Southmead. South Gloucestershire Council has apologised for any inconvenience the closure may cause and thanked people for their patience.
