PUNE: The real estate sector in the state has started the 2022-23 fiscal on a steady note despite the 1% Metro cess and rise in Ready Reckoner (RR) rates from April 1. The first quarter of the financial year is likely to generate more registration and revenue figures as compared to the similar period in 2020-21 and 2021-22.
Data revealed that while April recorded 2.11 lakh registrations, May's registrations were at 2.22 lakh. Property registrations are nearing 1 lakh in the first 12 days of June.
