Maharashtra: NCP leader Jitendra Awhad arrested for assaulting businessman while stalling Marathi movie 'Har Har Mahadev'

THANE: NCP leader and former minister Jitendra Awhad has been arrested by the Vartak Nagar police allegedly for assaulting a businessman inside a multiplex and stalling a show of Marathi movie "Har Har Mahadev" on Tuesday.

Awhad alleged that the movie distorted the facts and depicted historical characters in poor light.
