MUMBAI: After the HC said Sanjay Pandey was a blue-eyed boy of the government and should never have been considered for the post of DGP , Pandey, in a social media post, had said unfounded remarks attacking his integrity were made during the legal discourse, making it untenable for him to continue in the job.
After HC indicated its displeasure, the state replaced him with IPS officer Rajneesh Seth. Pandey immediately proceeded on leave. Subsequently, in a social media post, he expressed his disappointment with the manner in which the case played out in court.
