NASHIK: The farmers who are beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi - 'PM Kisan' scheme should complete their ‘Know Your Client’ process at the earliest so that the they can get benefit from the same.
The farmers should complete the KYC before July 31, failing which the beneficiaries of this scheme may be deprived.
The coordinating officer for Ahmednagar district, and resident deputy collector of 'PM Kisan' scheme Sandeep Nichit appealed to the farmers to complete the process so that they can get benefit from the scheme.
A special awareness campaign was conducted till May 2022 for online KYC of registered eligible beneficiaries on the PM Kisan portal. While the last date for verification is July 31, so far 41.11 percent of the beneficiaries in the district have not completed the KYC process.
The beneficiaries can do their own KYC verification free of charge through OTP in the farmer corner tab on the website https://pmkisan.gov.in or in the 'PM Kisan' app. KYC can be done biometrically at 'Grahak Seva Kendra' for a nominal fee of Rs.15, Nichit said.
