Details have been finalised for a free mini Illuminight-style festive event at the Dean Castle.
The dark nights are set to be lit up for the people of Kilmarnock in the weeks leading up to Christmas Day with special events running from December 9 to December 23 from 4.30pm to 9pm each night.
Guests can wander along the festoon-lit Dean Park pathways to the castle which will be illuminated with a spectacular and immersive projection show.
And those attending can tuck into mulled wine, hot chocolate, mulled apple or a sweet treat from traditional market huts.
The courtyard promises to be worthy of Instagram with trees and lights offering the perfect photo opportunity. Kids can also write a letter to Santa and post it to the North Pole.
A spokesperson for East Ayrshire Leisure said: "Get in to the Spirit of Christmas at Dean Castle! We are lighting up the dark December nights with festive animations and spectacular effects.
"Entry will be free and non-ticketed, giving everyone the chance to enjoy an affordable Christmas experience during this already expensive time of year.
"If loud noises and crowed spaces are not your thing, join us for 'relaxed viewings' on Mondays, where audio will be lowered, and capacity will be reduced.
"Join us for this magical event as we start the countdown to Castle's official re-opening in April 2023!"
