Cleaning can be therapeutic, but sometimes it can be tough to find methods that work for you and are cost-effective at the same time too.
Rather than buying a different product for each room in the home, such as kitchen cleaners, and bathroom cleaners, one cleanliness enthusiast has shared a "magic" product that she makes in order to remove "stubborn stains" from "any surface."
And the best thing? It costs just £2 to make, and you likely already have the components in your cupboard.
Elnaz Hamai, who posts on TikTok as @elnazhamai, shared her "DIY magic cleaner" which contains "just a few ingredients."
Elnaz shared her secret, saying: "All you need is one cup of baking soda, a quarter cup of dish soap, and a quarter cup of water."
Baking soda can be bought for as little as £1 from pound shops, as can dish soap - and both products can be purchased from Amazon.
She then instructed people to "mix well until you get a milky consistency", as she decanted it into various containers.
Elnaz continued: "This magic cleaner also makes a great toilet bowl cleaner. Baking soda is a natural cleaner, and has a deodourising agent."
She also explained that dish soap can remove "any stubborn stains", which means the combination of them both works perfectly.
"It's safe to be used on all surfaces such as the sink, range, oven, and much more."
She then finished the short clip by encouraging people to "give this a try."
In the comments, people seemed really impressed with the cheap method of cleaning, with one writing: "Thank you for sharing your magic formula with us!"
