Maggie Gyllenhaal named Venice Film Festival jury president for 2026 edition

Maggie Gyllenhaal Venice Venice Film Festival

US director, actress, screenwriter and producer Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Lost Daughter, The Bride!) will be the president of the international jury of the competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

Gyllenhaal and the other jurors will select the winner of the prestigious Golden Lion award for Best Film at the festival, which takes place from 2-12 September.
