While the Trump administration is using the tragedy to justify a crackdown on what they’re calling “hate speech,” some of the most influential voices in MAGA, including Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes, and Tucker Carlson, are pushing back hard, questioning the official narrative and the motives of the administration.
It’s honestly wild to see this happening. After the indictment of Tyler Robinson was released, which included what seemed to be a confession in a Discord chat, the MAGA world was united. Trump and his cabinet were ready to use this as a green light for a widespread purge of left-wing critics. However, that unity lasted less than a day.
