A confrontation in Manhattan ended in an unexpected turn after a man allegedly attacked protesters at a street demonstration, only to run toward a nearby police vehicle seeking protection and end up in handcuffs. Two short videos circulating on social media appear to show the moment tensions erupted during a protest in New York City.
The footage shows the man, identified by witnesses as a supporter of President Donald Trump, confronting demonstrators before allegedly striking a woman in the head. Officers detained him shortly after he fled to their vehicle, turning what began as a street altercation into a swift arrest.
