Married At First Sight’s Johnathan Wileman has taken to Instagram to open up to his follows about his secret split from Amy Christophers who he dated after leaving the experiment.
Taking to Instagram stories, the model revealed the reasons behind their secret breakup via a Q&A session.
One question that was asked read: “Do you keep in touch with any one from MAFS?”
Johnathan replied: “Avoiding MAFS based questions but I still speak to Matt and George regularly, and now and again Duka, Jordan and sometimes Chanita.”
The next question read: “What happened with you and Amy!?”
Obviously trying to avoid the topic, Johnathan realised it was time to address the questions. He said: “This question popped up quite a few times so I may as well answer it now.
“Me and Amy were getting to know each other, she helped me a hell of a lot through MAFS, always very supportive.
“And then obviously we had the Christmas special, things like that, but to be honest, the comments and everything else surrounding it put quite a negative spin on everything, so...
“We just thought it best that we stayed good friends and not spoil what we had or have already, so yeah, we’re just good friends now.
“But we’re both in a very good place getting on with our lives and everything's going well.”
Johnathan married Sophie Brown on the reality matchmaking series, with the couple making it to the final vows.
However, they decided to stay together despite Jonathan saying that he wasn’t attracted to Sophie, and saying that there was “something missing”.
The couple had split up by the time the MAFS reunion took place, with Sophie saying: "We had our ups and downs, but we are very different people." Johnathan said: "I knew I couldn't give Sophie what she wanted."
Since breaking up, it was then reported that Johnathan was dating former MAFS star, Amy Christophers.
The pair were spotted on a night out, hand-in-hand, with other former stars that appeared on the reality show.
Sophie didn’t seem to be too upset, sharing a reposted story about the relationship drama, adding a shrugging emoji.
