Thomas Hartley has come out as pansexual and said he's feeling "more confident than ever" in a powerful post.
The Married At First Sight UK star, 31, explained in the Instagram post how he found he was "attracted to all genders" before taking part in filming for the reality series this year.
Reality star Thomas shared a video of him doing the viral TikTok dance to Beyoncé's track CUFF IT alongside an image, which defined the word Pansexual.
The image read: "Pansexual noun – [pan-'sek-sh(e-)wal]. Someone who can love a person for who they are, not what they are."
He added another image in the post which read: "I am pansexual. I am attracted [to] people regardless of gender (yes there are more than 2 genders). No, I am not attracted to pans. No, this isn't the same as bi".
Thomas then added in the caption: "Coming out.
"I came out when I was 15 as gay, however before the show I found that I was attracted to all genders and coming to be more fluid with my gender and liberated in my sexuality, I do now understand that I am pansexual.
"Although I resonate more so with dating cis and trans men, I do find cis and trans women attractive to. I am at the beginning of this journey and I am more confident than I have ever been before.
"Pansexuality is not difficult to understand, however rather than be offended, I would rather help people understand and learn with resources and education."
In a message to his fans, he added: "Thanks for supporting me during MAFS and after, you have contributed to giving me the confidence to live in my truth."
Thomas then explained how he had discussed his sexuality in the show, but it wasn't included in the final edit.
He wrote: "Also I did come out on the home stay during my ex husbands home stay, but obviously they have to condense hours of filming to one hour."
Thomas was matched with Adrian Sanderson during the experiment. The pair had a rollercoaster romance before deciding to just be friends before the final vow renewal.
Thomas' post comes hours before the Married At First Sight UK Christmas reunion is set to air.
A trailer for the reunion has seen an explosive confrontation between Nikita Jasmine and Zoe Clifton as cast members from past and present series come together.
Meanwhile, Thomas revealed the reunion is set to be "explosive" and hinted he and a fellow cast mate are no longer on speaking terms as he tweeted: "I’ll be watching the reunion tonight. It’s gonna be a bit explosive and I’m sure lots will have lots to say after it. The clip where it says “blocked me on everything”, that was mutual, I was sick of arguing.
"We don’t talk, we won’t talk and I’m happier than I’ve been……"
He added: "Not all is as it seems, not everybody is as they appear and everyone’s going forth with their lives and I wish them the best."
