Married At First Sight UK's Paul C Brunson has responded to an E4 viewer who suggested the season's matchmaking was a "car crash" and urged the experts to take responsibility. It comes following the series seven reunion shows, which saw only two couples in the entire experiment stay together.
Most of the brides and grooms revealed they had decided to go their separate ways, including Jordan and Chanita, who seemed stronger than ever during the vow renewals. Only Jenna and Zoe, and George and April walked into the final dinner party together.
The 2022 programme was a pretty dramatic one and has included a cheating scandal, a series-long feud, and shock breakups. Matt and Whitney risked it all when they cheated on their former partners Gemma and Duka, however, they were unable to make their relationship work.

Following the reunion shows, expert Paul C Brunson has taken on some of the responsibility. Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "You need to take responsibility for the car crash that is this season's 'matchmaking'."
Responding, Paul said: "I agree; it sucked." Paul also discussed the 2023 experiment and said the show was going to "tighten up" in many ways.
Replying to a fan who said they were going to miss the series and were looking forward to next year, Paul replied: "Much love and respect! We're working on making next year's experiment MUCH better."
"Does this mean it will be applications only and no one sought out just for entertainment?" asked another fan. Responding, Paul explained: "It means we’re going to tighten up in many ways."
