In an absolute mind-f*ck of a plot twist, the Married At First Sight (MAFS) Final Dinner Party revealed a sneaky hidden plan between Bec Zacharia and Gia Fleur. Now, Scott McCristal has dished on his reaction to the shocking revelation.
There’s no doubt that last night’s Dinner Party unearthed one of the sneakiest moments from MAFS 2026. To give you a quick recap of last night’s drama extravaganza, Scott — who arrived alone — revealed to his fellow participants that Gia had lied about leaving the experiment.
When Gia finally arrived, Bec pulled her aside and warned her about what Scott had dished to the group, claiming that everyone had sided with Scott due to her lies, which he dubbed “emotional manipulation”.
Knowing that the group had a bone to pick with her, Gia threatened to leave the Final Dinner Party and went to the bathroom with Bec. Instead of leaving, Bec convinced Gia to stay by saying, “You know what to do”.
“Out victim him,” Gia replied.

Reflecting on the jaw-dropping moment, Scott admitted that he was “shocked” and that he and his friends — who watched the episode unfold with him on Monday night — had no clue that Bec and Gia had this plan.
“Shocked as everyone else watching it back,” Scott revealed to PEDESTRIAN.TV.
“My friends were at mine, and they were like, Holy guacamole. Like, what the hell. I’m actually speechless in regards to what to say to that. You can’t get any worse or wronger about a situation. I’m still speechless. What do you say to that?”
Although the experiment is done and dusted, with Scott and Gia obviously no longer an item, the 33-year-old is still grappling with his ex-bride’s intentions, especially after that major bombshell.
“Towards the end of the experiment — it just gets worse and worse and worse, and how she treats me, and I’m just emotional as a wreck,” he dished.
“Just as you thought things could get any worse. And then you see this plan, like this plan to somewhat pretend to get me back.
“I don’t understand what her initial plan is and what she’s trying to do. But no one ever knows, because she’s just lying 24/7.”
Despite the nasty, nasty revelation at the Final Dinner Party, Scott claimed Gia hasn’t reached out and hasn’t apologised for everything that unfolded on MAFS.
“She’s not really said sorry at all. I’m the one who has to make it up to us if I did something wrong, but I never did,” Scott said.
“She just [would] just manipulate me the whole time, made me just look like a fool. Just controlled me. Just controlling the whole time. She controlled everything about me.
“I’m watching myself look like I couldn’t even talk. It’s sad because I wish I was having fun, being loud, bubbly, enjoying myself, but I wasn’t. [I was] always trying to please her.”
Despite Gia’s actions, the controversial bride insisted that she was in love with Scott on Stan’s MAFS: After The Dinner Party. As they say, actions speak louder than words… I’ll leave it at that.
