As her break-up with Scott McCristal begins to play out on Married At First Sight (MAFS), Gia Fleur has already proudly announced her new relationship with another reality star.
The 35-year-old disability support worker has gone public with Alan Wallace from the Stan series Love Triangle, signalling she has well and truly moved on from the experiment. But according to Scott, the situation isn’t as straightforward as it looks.
Speaking candidly to PEDESTRIAN.TV, the 33-year-old business owner admitted he doesn’t believe the relationship will last because of one key issue.
“I don’t think any relationship Gia has right now will really work. For me, honesty was always the biggest problem,” Scott said. Ouch.

While viewers are still watching their relationship unravel on screen, Scott suggested the cracks were already there long before the cameras captured the downfall.
“You need honesty for something to last, and that just wasn’t there for me,” he remarked.
From the outside, Gia’s new romance might look like a fresh start for the mum-of-one, but Scott isn’t buying into the fairytale.
“It’s all happened pretty quickly, and when things move that fast, you do question how real it is,” he added. That said, Scott insisted he’s not losing sleep over it.
“I’m not bothered, I made the right decision for myself.”
Meanwhile, Gia appears to be embracing her post-MAFS era, sharing loved-up moments on social media and leaning into this next chapter — whether people are sceptical or not.
Who is Alan Wallace?
Alan was a contestant on the second season of Love Triangle, a Stan dating show produced by the same team as MAFS. He is an ex-semi-professional AFL player and, at least at the time of going on Love Triangle, an electrician.
Since the show aired in 2023, he has been regularly photographed hanging out with the MAFS crowds and attending influencer events. He’s also close friends with 2024 groom Dave Thomas Hand and briefly dated 2023 bride Alyssa Barmonde.
Let’s just say that if his relationship with Gia doesn’t work out, we wouldn’t be too surprised if he popped up on a future season of MAFS.
